This Is My Desk!
Well, kind of. Welcome to my new theme, designed by Caboodle Design.
The design process went along the lines of -
Caboodle: How do you spend your time, what makes you you?
Me: I’m mostly in front of my PC.
Caboodle: Hmm, what about in your spare time?
Me: I’m mostly in front of my PC.
Caboodle: Uh-huh, do you have any other hobbies?
Me: I’m mostly in front of my PC.
Caboodle: *sigh*
You get the idea! So we settled upon a poetic representation of my desk. Not entirely original, but enough of “me” to make it unique.
All I need now are recommendations for sweet plug-ins and stuff to put in the menus and footer!
Let me know what you think of the new design, good and bad. All comments will be passed onto Caboodle, and Michelle will take the right hump if you don’t like! :P

I like the design mate, although I do find myself wanting a nice capuccino every time I get on here now… I also find the links in the RH menu a little on the small side, although that could just be my eyesight going in my old age (my Dad always warned me that might happen…)
Things to add - Akismet and Math Commment plugins to protect you from the inevitable deluge of comment spam you’re going to get; All in On SEO (for some on page SEO) and Subscribe to comments are two plugins I find useful.. Related Posts plugins might be an idea once you’ve got a fair few posts under your belt.
And of course the final thing to add is a nice link to Lammo.net in your blogroll

Cheers John, I’ve added the Math Comment and Subscribe plugins. I also tweaked the menu font size a little, might need to go a touch larger?
Will have a look at the SEO plugin this weekend and see how it goes. Might go homebrew for the SEO!
Blogroll will probably be a links page instead, rest assured Lammo.net will find it’s way there.

Also added All In One SEO too, pretty simple, works very well.
