Win A Ticket To Think Visibility
Scarcer than hens’ teeth, harder to get than Take That tickets, gold dust to the online world!
A ticket to Think Visibility of course.
Think Visibility is a one-day conference with a focus on the areas of web development and marketing which are usually left behind in the creation process: SEO, PPC, Monetisation, Blogging, Accessibility and Usability.
All 100 tickets were snapped up quickly over Christmas, leaving you the option of sponsoring the event as the only way to get tickets.

Fear not! I have a spare ticket!
Convince me that you are the rightful person to get the ticket and it’s yours! How, What, Where etc.. you do that I’ll leave up to you, but make it entertaining!
Still not convinced you really really need to go? Have a look at the list of speakers! That’s all A-list!
Small Print -
Closing Date: 30th January
Competition Rules: You are taking this too seriously!
Update: Sponsorship slots are now all available at £500, which includes two tickets to attend! This also means I now have two tickets to give away.

It’s a Saturday with no footie on (the Coca Cola Championship doesn’t count despite my team heading there). So what else can I get up to?
I can’t have you party animals (I mean affiliate marketeers) causing mischief in Leeds whilst I’m stuck inside, it would be rude of me

My gearbox has just gone, my kids are ill, I lost a tenner at the weekend and the only way I feel I can be psychically compensated is by attending a shindig, pretending to make notes on a subject I don’t understand from some guys I don’t know, all the while surreptitously glancing at my watch and waiting to hit the bar. Plus the ‘mystery speaker’ is my demon spawn and I want to heckle her.

@ Ray – You’re going to have to try a bit harder than that! There’s a waiting list of around 60 for the event.
@ Carps – That’s a bit more like it, but I’m still feeling unmoved

I would turn on the faux tears about a third….of the (blub) way through this (blub) sentence (blubbering) … (wimpering) a la X factor, and every other saturday night piece of crap TV to try get this ticket, but I must admit life is good…so I wont…..but it would be even better if I did get this ticket, Apparently! Well that’s what Guy Redwood says.
Peace.

I think you should give it to me so I can put it on eBay and make some money
By Chris Clarkson on Jan 13, 2009 | Reply
@ Dom – Aren’t you like the Bank of England, you can just print more tickets?
@ DaveN – there’s such an event as a “good” tombola?
@ Rick – nice, I like the emotion, faux or otherwise.

At the end of the day I don’t want to listen to the speakers that I’ve already slept through at A4uExpo. I just don’t want to miss out on a Leeds party

Tombola is that where you pay £1, pick tickets and win old smelly bath cubes? – Love them – oh the excitement! – Dom could run one at the Event!

really seriously I want to recommend my mate Karen gets the ticket. She’s a very keen amateur allthings t’internet, but because of family commitments never gets the chance to attend any G2G’s or events and so I never thought to let her know about Think Visibility – and, boy, do I feel guilty
.
Karen’s site is http://www.special-needs-kids.co.uk and although I give her as much help as I can (even though she’s a died in the wool Boro Supporter and hates Leeds Utd)- it’s only limited and she would absolutely, absobloodylutely love to go to this…
AND
here’s the clincher – she’s promised to optimise Lindsay Wagner’s – the Bionic Woman, yes – THEE BIONIC WOMAN – website. It’s a long story but they are very good friends with a joint passion for helping Special Care Carers.
So you’d be doing 2 good things – getting me off the hook and ensuring Karen always books her holidays through Sunshine

What does Elaine mean ‘amateur’? and WHAT does she mean ‘mate’? But she is right about one thing though….I would absolutely, absobloodylutely love to go to this…….and you need somebody there to keep Elaine in line, and I can do that…..I know her secrets so she won’t dare say a word, which means all you guys can have a nice peaceful day for once. That’s got to be worth the ticket on its own hasn’t it? If that’s not enough then I could always set The Bionic Woman onto you to make you give me the ticket :-}

I think I should win as I will go solo from 1st Feb and will start building a few sites. It would be great support for a business start up, who have mainly done PPC to drive traffic.

@ Elaine & Karen – I think being threatened with the Bionic Woman is the kind of thinking that wins tickets
@Nils – as long as if you win you buy your own plane ticket!

If I win I would swap for a trip to SA (not)

Despite Elaine telling me about Think Visibility, I still forgot to buy my ticket!
Gutted I forgot to enter this comp too, well done to the winners.
That’ll teach me to be more organised.
