My 2009 Calendar

When Wi-Fi Won’t Weach!

I work from home in our study, on a bog standard Dell PC connected to AOL via a Netgear router. Lorna has a nice little MacBook that she uses to surf the net and punish our credit cards from the lounge. All was well with our little wireless network until I added an Apple TV box to the TV in the family room.

I experimented with various positions for the wireless router, but it just didn’t seem to cover all three points very well. I had a look at wireless extenders but nothing seemed to guarantee success. New Addition To The Family

I’m delighted to announce the Clarkson family is about to increase in numbers! It’s not what you think!

The Act of Introducing Something New

..is the definition of innovation, apparently. We’ve been shortlisted for e-consultancy’s Innovation Awards 2008 for Innovation in Affiliate Marketing! Our entry was based on sunPress, our WordPress plugin for sunshine.co.uk affiliates. Fingers crossed for the 2nd December!

Playing catch up, I didn’t actually mention it here since, but we recently scooped the “best use of Affiliate Marketing” Award (well, OK, Affiliate Future technically won :P ) at the IMA Awards at the end of last month.
